From Crime to Serving God – The Kirk Watson Story

Kirk’s early life was founded in a life of crime, running from the police and eventual incarceration. After he was sentenced and put away for a long time, Kirk was introduced to Jesus Christ and received Him as his Saviour. During that period of time, Dr. Steve McEvoy was invited as a guest speaker in Collin’s Bay Penitentiary (Kingston, Ontario). Kirk was just about to be transferred to Toronto and approached Steve asking him if he would meet with him once he arrived at the Toronto prison.

Steve began to meet with Kirk on a regular basis and began their relationship by taking him through Standing Close to God (a teaching resource that Steve has written). Kirk was set on fire and began to minister boldly to his prison inmates.

Amazing things transpired through Kirk during his incarceration. God released His favor upon Kirk and had his charges removed.

Kirk became a free man while on the inside of the prison system. Now Kirk is a free man outside of physical prisons and helping others to receive what he has received from God.
