I Am A Blessing

In Genesis chapter twelve, God spoke forth the covenant that He was going to establish with man. In this declaration He said, “I will bless you ….. and make you a blessing” (vs. 2). When a study of the subject is completed in God’s Word, we see that this has been wonderfully fulfilled through the provision made by Jesus Christ.

When we look at our life, it is easy to reason out that we don’t have enough to be a blessing to others. When we look at our current condition and see some form of struggle, we can quickly say, ‘I can’t be a blessing in the moment that I am in’. However, this thinking can actually hold back the blessing from manifesting in our life. Thanks entirely to Jesus Christ, we are a blessing now and the Father wants to increase our ability to release this blessing to others.
