The Father's Blessing Is A Promise

The Blessing from the Father is intended to eradicate the effects of sin, death and the curse. Trying to overcome in our own effort what sin has effected cannot produce the promised Blessing in our lives.

The Blessing is a promise that we have been given and we have the right to release our faith and lay hold of it. The point of everything that Jesus has done is to ensure that the promise that has been given can be released. We can now use our faith to appropriate our God-given inheritance and rise above whatever sin and death has been able to accomplish.
