The Roadway Back to The Father

From the Old Testament into the New Testament we have an amazing unveiling of the roadway back to the Father.

When the prophet Elijah was taken from the earth, his mantle did not leave. As he departed, his spiritual son Elisha the prophet let out a prophetic cry saying, “My father, My father”. He picked up Elijah’s mantle and continued along the same miraculous path. Then at the close of the Old Testament, we are told that Elijah shall return and fulfill a very significant mandate of restoring the fathers’ role upon the earth.

This was a prophetic announcement that pointed ahead to Jesus and then to the body of Christ as a whole. The world is crying out for the restoration of the Father. Jesus paid the price and established the roadway back to the Father.
