What the Father Sees When He Looks at Me

Our Heavenly Father wants us freed from sin’s condition more than we ever could.  Only He sees the depths of how far away each one of us is from His original intent. Knowing this makes it difficult for us to turn to Him with a fully abandoned heart.  It is normal to fear coming close to Him because of our awareness that we don’t measure up.  Although this response is natural and normal, it doesn’t need to be the way we relate to our Heavenly Dad.

God Himself knew that no one could come close to Him because of sin.  For this reason, and flowing from His love and grace, the Father put everything on the Son so that we could freely approach Him.  Jesus willfully took all our sin upon Himself so that we could be restored to the Father.

We don’t need to hide from God.  We can run to Him and receive His glorious transforming work in our lives.
